Matthew Kim, Chairman & CEO
Matthew Kim founded Gateway Property Management for Hotels in 2013, building on a successful career in hotel management that began in 1995. He entered the industry at the front desk of a full-service hotel while pursuing his undergraduate degree and steadily advanced through every level of hotel operations, ultimately serving as Executive Vice President of Operations for a hotel management firm. While Matthew is driven by a philosophy of dedication and hard work, his true passion lies in mentoring and developing individuals who aspire to build lasting careers in the hospitality industry.

Alvyn Prasad
Staffing, Placements & Property Expansion
Alvyn makes sure properties are properly staffed and supported with the right people. He reviews candidates, manages placements, and fills staffing gaps so operations stay smooth. He also helps bring new properties into Gateway by identifying opportunities and building relationships with owners. Along with Paul, he supports payroll so staff are paid correctly and on time. For owners, Alvyn means fewer staffing problems and faster solutions when coverage is needed.

Paul Kang
Operations, Compliance & Payroll
Paul protects the property by keeping everything compliant and organized. He handles documentation, procedures, and operational structure so owners don’t have to worry about mistakes, risks, or missing requirements. He also supports payroll with Alvyn to ensure accuracy and accountability. When a new agreement starts, Paul makes sure systems are set up correctly from day one. For owners, he brings stability, protection, and clean operations.

Joyce Jiawan
Regional Sales Manager
Joyce brings business to the property. She finds new opportunities, books contracts, and fills rooms that would otherwise stay empty. Her job is to create revenue, improve occupancy, and keep business flowing consistently. She researches markets, builds relationships, and turns leads into confirmed bookings. For owners, Joyce means someone is actively working every day to increase income and keep the property competitive.

Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager
Noah helps the property look professional and competitive to guests and partners. He supports websites, social media, and online content so the property stays visible and presentable. His work helps drive bookings, protect reputation, and keep marketing materials organized. For owners, Noah means the property always looks current, credible, and ready to attract business.
